Colin Patino is the Principal of the Practice. He qualified as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom and worked in London before emigrating to Queensland in 1997.Colin has since worked for a number of CBD law firms, specialising in compensation claims, including acting on behalf of most of the major Insurance companies. Colin is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Pan European Organisation of Lawyers.

Mark Meikle is the firm’s Claims Manager. He qualified as a Teacher originally before deciding that he preferred the cut and thrust of compensation claims to the classroom. Mark worked for three major CTP Insurers, most recently in the role of Executive Manager, CTP Claims, where he had responsibility for 50 staff, before joining Colin at our practice. He is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance.

Alistair Lord is a consultant for the firm. He qualified as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom where he worked his way up from Junior Solicitor to Equity Partner in an established law firm. Alistair emigrated to Queensland in 2007 and brings a wealth of experience to our firm. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Lawyers Alliance.

Michael Coughlan is a Consultant with our firm, having previously worked in a number of positions on behalf of both Defendants and Claimants in the compensation claims arena. This previous experience in acting for Defendants gives Michael an insight into what opponents are thinking and doing and he can then help clients to stay one step ahead, ensuring the best possible results for our clients. Michael is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
